Todays Journey

Today was a day at home. Gas is now up to 4.21 per gallon. I stopped at the store to get bread $2.39 and a 12 pack of coke for Charles' lunch the 12 pack was 4.99! After this pack is gone he will be taking koolaid or tea in his lunch along with water.

It is a hot day today and I relaxed for a bit in the pool. Thinking of how to cut cost and squeeze more from our budget. Christmas will be here soon and I need to start saving and buying presents here and there. I am also making a lot of presents this year knitting washcloths - baking etc.

Today's dinner:
deer meat
mashed potatoes
corn on the cob
salad

Today's Path-
  1. Homemade bread and cookies
  2. line dried clothes
  3. clothes that are too small being cut into quilting squares
  4. Enjoying the lazy days of summer

Yep, I'm feeling the pinch also....if feed wasn't so high, I'd probably get a horse. I'm sure the Amish are laughing at us now....lol. I'll be cooking all day Friday so my family won't be tempted to eat out next week while I'm at church camp. GREAT BLOG!!!

Wow! Gas is crazy! It's $3.91 here, so I guess we are a little luckier.
