Snowy Monday

Snow snow snow - that is what the forecast tonight and tomorrow is calling for. Here is our forecast:
Tonight: Snow showers, mainly after 3am. Low around 22. North wind between 7 and 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.

Tuesday: Snow showers likely, mainly before noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 25. North wind between 11 and 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
The boys are really hoping for a snow day tomorrow. I am afraid if it snows I will be tempted to start decorating for Christmas :)) I think I am going to go with a natural / colonial theme this year. Of course I will use my same treasured Christmas ornaments from years past - but I think I might go into the woods and make some natural decorations as well. Just some ideas I have rolling around in my head.

The boys are off from school all next week. It is also the first week of deer buck season here. All 3 boys and hubby are avid hunters so hopefully we will be blessed with fresh venison to put in the freezer. I also do an enormous amount of cooking that week in addition to the Thanksgiving day dinner. I am working on my menu and recipes to post later on.

I went to the grocery store today so I am all set for a week of hibernating and baking. lol Have a great day!

I tell you, the thing I don't miss the most about living up north is the snow - but the holidays - I love! Oh, and BTW - I've tagged you.

We're going to Florida for Thanksgiving and I am having a Holiday Open House December 4th, so I am decorating for Christmas already... Should get it all done this week so we can come back to a clean, decorated home.
