Cinnamon Raisin Bagels

With the cost of groceries getting higher and higher every little bit helps. I cook most everything homemade but have never attempted bagels before. Homemaking Mama posted her cinnamon raisin bagel recipe her blog. I am going to try and make these this week.

Cinnamon Raisin Bagels
1/4c brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2c raisins
2tsp cinnamon
1c warm water
1c bread flour
1 1/2c whole wheat flour
2 1/2tsp yeast
1. Put the ingredients into a bread maker in the order it is listed. Put breadmaker onto dough cycle.
2. After the dough cycle has completed. Take dough and cut into 6 pieces. Shape into bagels. Drop into a large pot of rapidly boiling water for 30 seconds on each side (they float so you need to flip them over)
3. Drain bagels on paper towel and then put on a baking tray that has been dusted with flour. Brush egg wash over bagels then bake in a 180c oven until golden brown.
